This is Why.

I've noticed that a couple other people have recipe blogs, and I decided why not. This way I NEVER lose a recipe, and if someone wants a recipe from me they can just come here and find it. It might be easier than calling and asking me to repeat it back to them. Brenden says nobody wants my recipes, and that's okay, this is just so I never lose them :o) Sorry if some of these don't make sense to you.

Dutch Oven Chicken with no duch oven (WEB)


4 chicken breast
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
4-6 slices bacon, cooked till crisp, then crumbled (or use Hormel bacon, *see below)
1 onion, diced
Salt & pepper
3-4 potatoes, peeled and diced
3-4 carrots, sliced
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk

Salt and pepper chicken, brown in oil and garlic. (You don’t need to completely cook, justbrown it.) Place in a 9x13” pan. Arrange veggies around chicken. Sprinkle with bacon, salt, and pepper. Mix soup, sour cream, and milk. Pour over the top. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 60-90 minutes or till veggies are tender.Notes:-You can add more or less milk depending on how saucy you like it.
