This is Why.

I've noticed that a couple other people have recipe blogs, and I decided why not. This way I NEVER lose a recipe, and if someone wants a recipe from me they can just come here and find it. It might be easier than calling and asking me to repeat it back to them. Brenden says nobody wants my recipes, and that's okay, this is just so I never lose them :o) Sorry if some of these don't make sense to you.

Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry

1/4 c. Soy Sauce
1/2 Red Onion , sliced
1 Tb. garlic, minced
1 1/2 lb. top sirloin steak, sliced 1 inch thick
1 Tb. rice vinegar
1 Tb. ginger, minced
4 c. broccoli florets
8 oz. dried soba noodles

1. Bring 2 quarts of water to a boil

2. Meanwhile, heat a small amount of soy sauce in a large saute pan, add the onions and garlic and saute until opeque

3. Add beef and saute, turning often with tongs, for 7 to 10 minutes. Stir together the oil , vinegar, and ginger and add to the saute mixture.

4. Blanch broccoli in the boiling water for microwave on high, covered and vented 2 minutes. Add to the meat mixture and keep warm

5. prepare soba noodles according to package directions. Drain, toss with the beef and broccoli and serve.
